Responsibilities

Charlemont is a member of the Cooperative Public Health Service, a Regional Public Health District based at the Franklin Regional Council of Governments. CPHS staff provide septic system, private well, food safety and community sanitation support to the Board of Health, as well as public health nursing. Public Health Nurse regular hours in Charlemont are:

• Fourth Wednesday of every month at the Charlemont Federated
• Church: 10:30 AM -12 PM
• Third Tuesday of every month at the Good Neighbors Food

Distribution at the Charlemont Federated Church at 5 PM.

Residents are also welcome at all of the Public Health Nurse’s office
hours listed on the website.

Meeting Schedule

The Board of Health will hold regular meetings at 6PM on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Meetings are held in the Meeting Room at the Charlemont Town Hall. Please check the town calendar for changes in the meeting schedule, especially in summer.
