Charlemont 250 Parade

Saturday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. the Charlemont 250 parade will march through Town with numerous musical groups including the award winning Connecticut Patriots Fife and Drum Corps, Shelburne Military Band, Chester Fife and Drum and the Melha Shriners. Residents of all towns are invited to enter with a float, antique cars, tractors, decorated bikes, fire trucks and more. Be a part of history by joining the parade or viewing along the scenic route beginning just west of the village on the Mohawk Trail, traveling east past Town Hall and then turning north on Route 8A to the historic Fairgrounds and the Yankee Doodle Days Fair. Organizers wish to note that all participants should arrive by 9:30 a.m. and that the Mohawk Trail from the east border to Mohawk Park will be closed to through traffic between 10 a.m. until approximately noon.
