The Charlemont Board of Health will hold a public hearing on
Wednesday, April 25 at 7:45 pm
in the Board meeting room
in the Town Hall, 157 Main Street, Charlemont, MA.
The purpose of the hearing is to present and take comments on:
1.) adopting a Formal Food Inspection Policy in accordance with the FDA Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (#4);
2.) a proposed BOH Regulation to provide for the Employment of Outside Consultants pursuant to MGL Chapter 44, section 53G;
3.) a proposed Local Private Well Regulation based on the DEP Model Private Well Regulations requiring testing of well water for rental properties, irrigation wells, at the time of property transfer, and other requirements;
4.) a proposed Local Regulation for Septic Systems requiring BOH witnessing of Title-5 Inspections, and other requirements.
