Senior Center:

The Charlemont Senior Center located at 175 Main St serves the towns of Charlemont, Hawley, Rowe and Monroe, tel. 339-4201.   Hot meals available Wednesdays at Noon.  Contact Linda Reynolds by 9 A.M. the day before, tel. 339-5324 or 339-4201.

Senior Center Schedule

Each Tuesday a bus provided by Big Y and Franklin Regional Transit Authority will leave the Charlemont Senior Center, Federated Church parking lot, for shopping at Big Y Plaza, phone FRTA 774-2262, ext. 105, 48 hours prior to pick up. Return trip from Big Y Plaza at 11:30 a.m. Each Wednesday, at 11:15 a.m. an exercise program "Fit after 50" will be led by Linda Comstock. Public invited, no charge.

1st Wed. of month:

Blood pressures 10:30 - noon

3rd Wed. of month:

Brown bag food distribution 10:30 - 12:00 noon. Call Sr. Center manager (339-5324 or 339-4201) for details.

4th Wed. of month:

Offered every other month. Foot clinic 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Donations accepted. Diabetics and people with involved foot care, please see their physician.
